IGLU (Infosys Gay Lesbian Employees and You) is an initiative to create a respectful and safe work environment for LGBT workers by conducting awareness programs and exclusive events to promote a spirit of inclusion. Similarly, Google and Goldman Sachs have launched LGBT networks in India. Recently, JPMorgan Chase took the drastic step of including “do not specify” as a third option in the gender section of their recruitment forms, while Wipro Technologies chose “do not specify” and “other”. Decided to use it as an alternative that offers a wider selection. We group talented applicants in our offices in Bangalore and Mumbai.
